Johnston City Ministerial Alliance. Come enjoy all our activities,
food and booths. Music will be presented.

>May 3, 2008 Second Annual "Action for Autism" Fund raiser

>First Annual Bingo Game held by JC Lions Club will be held on
May 3rd from 6pm until last games are finished, approx 9pm at
the Masonic Lodge.
There will be cash prizes among other prizes awarded for Bingo.
Refreshments will be available.
Get there early because seating will be limited!
Proceeds for 4th of July Celebration
If we have a good response we will hold another Bingo for our
community!

>3rd Annual Johnston City Kids Free Fishing Derby will be held
on June 1st, Sunday from 1-5 pm at Arrowhead Lake.  
Registration begins at 1pm to 2pm.  Fishing is from 2-4 pm and
refreshments and awards from 4-5 pm.  Kids 12 and under in the
Johnston City School District are invited along with a parent or
guardian.  Parent or guardian must be present at registration and
through out the derby.
 
A limited supply of rods/reels will be provided for those without
equipment.  You are encouraged to bring your own.  Bait will be
supplied but you may bring your own.
This is a catch and release derby-no stringer-no buckets.  All
fishing will be done from the bank in a designated area.  Each fish
will be measured by staff and released.  Parents may assist in
baiting and casting for younger children but child must reel fish
into bank unassisted.

Many prizes will be given away through a free raffle.  Prizes
awarded in 3 age categories for most fish, biggest fish and
smallest fish.
Free refreshments will be available at 4pm to those that
participated in derby.
